Questions about costs, scope and what happens next

These answers reflect what HSH has confirmed now. They avoid invented reviews, guarantees, accreditations, opening hours and response times. If the answer depends on the site, the useful next step is to send photographs and arrange the right assessment.

Which areas do you cover?
HSH Services prioritises Horsham, Crawley, Billingshurst and Southwater. Cranleigh and wider locations can be considered for suitable larger projects. Send the postcode area and project outline so travel can be assessed.
Do you add a markup to raw materials?
HSH's approach is to show material costs clearly and not hide an additional markup on raw materials. Where agreed, you may be able to pay the supplier directly. Labour, disposal, plant and other project costs are still explained in the quotation.
Are you insured?
Yes. HSH Services has public liability insurance up to £1 million, as confirmed by the client on 11 August 2026.
Do you publish fixed working hours?
No. Project schedules can vary and Harry may work longer days or some weekends when appropriate. Enquiries are welcome through the contact form, phone or email without the website promising fixed on-site hours.
What helps you understand a new project?
Share the postcode area, the change you want, approximate dimensions, photographs of the work and access route, and any timing or access constraints. A site visit is normally needed before the final scope is agreed.
Do you offer resin driveways?
No. HSH advertises non-resin driveway and pathway options such as appropriate paving systems.
Can you handle several parts of a garden project?
Yes. HSH's start-to-finish approach can combine excavation, sub-base preparation, patios, paths, brickwork, fencing, decking, turf and bases within an agreed scope.
Do you have customer reviews?
HSH is not publishing reviews until genuine, attributable feedback is available. For now, the site shows real work, the installation process, insurance and how costs are handled.
What happens after I send an enquiry?
Harry reviews the details and contacts you to discuss whether the project and location fit. A site visit is normally required before the final scope and quotation are agreed. No fixed response-time promise is published.
Can I pay the materials supplier directly?
This may be arranged where agreed. The exact ordering and payment route is confirmed for the project so responsibility, delivery timing and product choices remain clear.
Why are there no fixed prices on the website?
Access, excavation, ground conditions, levels, drainage, disposal, cuts, steps and material choices can change the work significantly. HSH prefers a transparent project-specific breakdown to an attractive but misleading headline price.
Do you create complete garden transformations?
HSH can combine relevant services in one agreed scope. The design remains practical and homeowner-led; specialist design or engineering needs are identified rather than claimed in-house without evidence.
Are the gallery photographs genuine?
Yes. They were supplied by the client and approved for general publication. They are not labelled as case studies, customer locations or before-and-after sets until those facts are verified.
Is HSH Services ICO registered?
Registration is in progress. The website does not publish a number until it has been received and verified. Privacy enquiries can be sent to the published business email.

Start with the useful details

Ask Harry about the detail that matters to you

Send Harry the location, what you want to change, approximate dimensions and a few photographs if you have them. He can then discuss the sensible next step without a fixed-price promise based on incomplete information.
